“Baikonur, we have a problem”. These are the words that a cosmonaut utters deep from space.
There are still 30 years to go from that moment. 30 years that can change the history of the Soviet Union. And the history of the world as we know it.
It´s the 30s, 20th century.
A group of Soviet scientists, led by rocket engineer Sergei Koroliov, develops a science capable of understanding the fibers and mechanisms of history and anticipating the facts: the meta-dialectic.
Understanding that the destiny of humanity is threatened by a destructive and warmongering drive, they improvise a plan that fails when Stalinism traps and locks them up.
Nestopov, a young apprentice, twists his fate by avoiding capture and later recruiting himself into the Red Army. Years later, as the World War II raged on, he made contact with the German V2 missile in the eastern front; recognizing the design that Koroliov had envisioned for future space rockets. Nestopov, driven by a strange epiphany, participates in the capture of the creator of the missile: the Nazi scientist Werner von Braun…thus changing history as we know it.
The Soviet state releases Koroliov from prison to develop a missile in the service of the USSR. He accepts, with the secret intention of putting a delicate plan in motion. He must take advantage of the nuclear age to develop the only thing that will save humanity: the space race. At the same time, and to try to win the race he secretly recruits his meta-dialectical colleagues and also Nestopov. Nestopov's, our protagonist, mission is to rise to power in Moscow and start the meta-dialectic revolution… the "meta-revolution."
The time to fulfill this plan is short. If by the end of the 1960s Nestopov is not Prime Minister and the Soviets do not conquer the Moon ... all will be lost.
