What is the Rights Sales Platform?
The Illustrators Association of Argentina pioneers innovation by creating this online editorial catalog, giving publishers and agents a new tool to get direct contact with creators to buy editorial rights. The catalog is separated by the following categories: children, youth, graphic novels, comics, picturebooks, games and activities.
¿Cómo funciona?
El acceso a la plataforma no require registro y para proteger los derechos de los autores no se visualizan los proyectos completos pero si toda la información necesaria (Título, descripción, medidas, cantidad de páginas, derechos disponibles y muestra con algunas páginas). Los interesados en profundizar su búsqueda se podrán contactar directamente con el autor/a para evaluar su potencial publicación. ADA brinda este servicio a sus socixs para facilitar el contacto directo entre compradores y autorxs. ADA no es un intermediario ni se hace responsable de las negociaciones que surjan de la plataforma.
How does it work?
Access to the platform does not require registration, and to protect the rights of the authors, full projects are not displayed. However, all necessary information is available (title, description, dimensions, number of pages, available rights, and a sample with a few pages). Those interested in further exploring a project can contact the author directly to assess its potential for publication.
ADA provides this service to its members to facilitate direct contact between buyers and authors. ADA is not an intermediary and is not responsible for any negotiations that arise from the platform.
