A hat for Nicanor
This project is a proposal for an album book where text and image dialogue to build the meaning of history.
The story proposes an exploration of themes such as identity, the gaze of others, difference, fullness or emptiness. The main character feels that he is missing something, what he considers that others have. He begins a search, based on an everyday object, (a hat) that allows him, by contrast, to build how he looks or feels. The search becomes more and more folly, until its resolution at the end.
The proposal has a first and last part written in prose, and the dialogues between the characters in rhyme.
