About the book:
Sakura Sakura is a picture book publishing project based on an anonymous Japanese folk song that represents the arrival of spring through the cherry blossoms. Created using mixed media: acrylic, tempera, and digital collage. Throughout the pages, we can see different ways of representing the change of season with rhetorical elements that enrich the visual dance and accompany the song's meaning.
Sakura Sakura es un proyecto editorial de libro álbun, basado en una canción folklórica japonesa anónima que representa la llegada de la primavera a través de la flor del cerezo. Realizado con técnicas mixtas: acrílico, témpera y colage digital.
A través de las páginas podremos ver diferentes maneras de representar el cambio de estación con elementos retóricos que enriquecen la danza visual y acompañan el significado de la canción.
