Darkness and me is a picture book for teenagers and young adults. The protagonist begins to feel something unknown, a distressing emotion that he cannot put into words. He feels himself sinking deeper and deeper into that state, unsure whether he can escape. By ceasing to resist and inhabiting it, he finds a clue to follow, which ultimately allows him to emerge and return to life.
