About the book:

The story is about the value of responsibility. The Girl is a very friendly character who lives in the mountains with her dog, Osvaldo, who is lively and gives her advice. The Ball of Yarn represents what we need to improve, resolve, or something that hinders a more prosperous life, such as changing a bad attitude. This last character is an animated being that grows if the Girl doesn't resolve the issue. There is also Elsa, a seagull who can talk and, as her species indicates, is the one who heralds the storm. Weaving represents not only trying to solve the problem the Girl faces, but also that living is like weaving; a thread represents the development of life, a successive union of events. This is why, if she had woven from the beginning of the story, the Ball of Yarn wouldn't have grown so large, because by taking responsibility for our problems, we can develop our lives better.
