“Ñaué loved horses. When she ride they both run so fast that girl and animal turn into one.” Ñaué, Alu, the lake and the fog are all characters in this story in which a girl that loves to ride horses and navigate through their boat made of canelo wood, transforms herself in legend.

This version of Perla Suez related with an ancestral tale belong to the people of the Araucanía, stand out for its poetic and potential beauty. The object of this recognition is to promote and guide the lecture of selected books that contains literaly and artistic values, besides the possibility of connect with readers looking for a reading rich in knowledge and sensibility. It has been selected by ALIJA at the category Tales of Oral Tradition.
The illustrations were selected as finalists at the Illustrators Exhibition of the Bologna Children Bookfair, 2025. Besides, they were included in the 30º Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava gathered to the work of other nine illustrators who are part of the Association of Argentinian Illustrators, representing Argentina last year at the exhibition.
