I am an author, illustrator and writer of children’s literature, with over 20 years of experience and more than 50 books published across Latin America, the United States, and Europe. My books Gato Pato and Mamerto mío were recognized by Fundación Cuatrogatos (USA), and Mamerto mío received the ALIJA IBBY Argentina Award for Best Children’s Novel for my illustrations (text by Ezequiel Dellutri).
I was selected by Argentina’s Ministry of Education to illustrate books for the National Reading Plan, and several of my titles are part of school collections throughout the country. I also develop illustrations for educational textbooks, expanding my work within the academic field.
I believe in the power of interpreting a text and translating it into images that transform and elevate it. I see myself as the first reader of every story and, from that position, I aim to expand its meaning, emotion, and layers of interpretation through a distinctive visual narrative. My work is defined by a unique blend of humor and tenderness, a sensitive gaze, and a strong narrative structure that engages readers and offers them something beyond illustration alone.
Soy autor integral, ilustrador y escritor de literatura infantil, con más de 20 años de trayectoria y más de 50 libros publicados en América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa. Mis libros Gato Pato y Mamerto mío fueron distinguidos por la Fundación Cuatrogatos (EE.UU.), y Mamerto mío recibió el Premio ALIJA IBBY Argentina a Mejor Novela Infantil por la ilustración (con texto de Ezequiel Dellutri).
Fui seleccionado por el Ministerio de Educación de Argentina para ilustrar libros del Plan Nacional de Lecturas, y varias de mis obras forman parte del catálogo presente en numerosas escuelas del país. También trabajo desarrollando ilustraciones para manuales escolares, ampliando mi experiencia en el campo educativo.
Creo en el poder de interpretar un texto y traducirlo en imágenes que lo transformen y lo potencien. Me asumo como el primer lector de cada historia y, desde ese lugar, busco expandir sus sentidos, emociones y capas de lectura a través de una narrativa visual propia. Mi trabajo se distingue por la combinación de humor y ternura, una mirada sensible y una construcción narrativa sólida que dialoga con el lector y le propone siempre algo más que una simple ilustración.
