Mi nombre es GIO Fornieles. Nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina; y desde niño descubrí mi pasión por el dibujo. Como adulto me esfuerzo a diario para mantener esa pasión profesionalmente.
Desde las fuentes del Diseño Gráfico descubrí mi destino profesional en la ilustración y especialmente en la ilustración infantil. Hoy mi trabajo puede verse en libros, camisetas, revistas, publicidades, videos, institucionales, presentaciones en vivo.
Corría el año 2011 cuando, junto a otros colegas ilustradores, nos vimos en la necesidad de hacer renacer esta querida Asociación de Dibujantes de la Argentina, trabajando mucho comunitariamente hasta lograrlo.
Tuve el honor de ser premiado en el año 2019 por esta Asociación en la Categoría "Humor Gráfico".
En 2024 nuevamente fui distinguido por la institución como "Artista destacado del Año", y premiado en las Categorías "Historieta" y "Humor Gráfico".
Dejo aquí esta presentación y los invito a ver una pequeña muestra de mi trabajo, con la esperanza que sirva de nexo para conocernos en el futuro.

My name is GIO Fornieles. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and as a child I discovered my passion for drawing. As an adult, I strive daily to maintain that passion professionally.
From the roots of Graphic Design, I discovered my professional destiny in illustration, especially children's illustration. Today, my work can be seen in books, t-shirts, magazines, advertisements, videos, institutional displays, live performances, etc.
It was 2011 when, along with other fellow illustrators, we felt the need to revive this beloved Association of Illustrators of Argentina, working hard within the community until we achieved this goal. I had the honor of being awarded a prize by this Association in 2019 in the "Graphic Humor" category. In 2024, I was again recognized by the institution as "Outstanding Artist of the Year" and awarded in the "Comic" and "Graphic Humor" categories.
