Matías Moriconi, nacido en la ciudad de Neuquén, Argentina. Desde temprana edad tuve mucha afinidad con el arte, con dibujar y esto marco mucho en mi vida y dejo claro lo que mas me gustaba. Con la influencia la dibujo en tinta china, cómics y otras disciplinas, decidí en el año 2015 comenzar definitivamente y de forma mas seria mi carrera artística.

Inspirado también por grande maestros como Bosch, Dürer y luego por el estudio del ocultismo, brujería, magia, comencé a formar el cuerpo de mis futuros trabajos, reflejando así lo aprendido en el trascurso del tiempo. Han pasado 10 años y cada obra emerge del caos potencial, como rituales, donde se evocan y plasman imágenes para transmitir la esencia de lo divino.

Actualmente estoy trabajando en nuevos proyectos y estudiando en la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Neuquén, la carrera Técnico en Artes Visuales, que sin duda marcará otro comienzo en mis futuras obras y me servirá para progresar como artista de la región.

Statement

Mi pintura se enfoca en capturar la oscuridad, belleza y divinidad de la Necromancia, utilizando oleos, tintas para obtener la atmósfera deseada.

Trabajo con estos materiales porque permite captar la esencia deseada, ya sea con veladuras o pintura directa permite construir la atmósfera adecuada.

Exploro la brujería y la magia porque es algo que amo, me apasiona y quiero que se conozca su valor real en esta era moderna a través de lo visual. Transmitir esa pasión y energía al público y puedan captar lo necesario para ampliar su conocimiento.

Matías E. Moriconi was born in the city of Neuquén, Argentina. Art, Witchcraft and

Magick shaped my life and defined my path. I decided to formally and definitively

launch my artistic career in 2015.

Inspired by great masters such as Bosch and Dürer, and later by the study of magic, I

began to shape the body of my work, reflecting everything I have learned over time.

Throughout these past ten years, each piece has emerged from "potential chaos" like a

ritual, where images are evoked and given form to transmit the essence of the divine.

Currently, I am working on new projects while studying for a degree as a Visual Arts

Technician at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes in Neuquén. This academic path will

undoubtedly mark a new chapter in my future work and serve as a vital step in my

progression as a regional artist.

I had the privilege to work with some independent artists and practitioners around

the world like, C.E.R.E.M.O.N.I.A - Marcus McCoy (TrollcunningForge) , collaborations

in zines and books, and others in metal music escene.

The conceptual foundation is the exploration of the spiritual world, both in an exoteric

form (for the general public) and an esoteric/magical one (as a form of recognition for

the spirits), based on various ancient traditions of cult and mainly focused on and

respect toward the dead, known as Necromancy.

Objectives

My work is created as a personal reflection, both as an artist and a practitioner of

magic. Beyond continuing to build my artistic career, my goals are to demonstrate the

knowledge gained through self-study and my time at the School of Fine Arts under the

guidance of mentors and peers; to forge new paths; and to continue honoring our

ancestors, spirits, and gods.
