Mi nombre es Gretta Saavedra,ilustradora freelance y artista plástica. Estudio Ilustración Clásica y Proyectos Editoriales con José Sanabria.

Mis ilustraciones tienen su desarrollo en el dibujo y en las técnicas clásicas, abordando el trabajo con un fuerte eje en técnicas aguadas, con apoyo en el grafito.Todo mi trabajo es manual, siento mayor sensibilidad en el trabajo manual, lo fundamental para mí es la luz y el contraste. Utilizó las técnicas digitales para generar color y como herramienta de diseño.

Constantemente busco generar armonía, belleza, elegancia y fuerza.

My name is Gretta Saavedra. I'm a freelance illustrator and plastic artist. My studies include classic illustration and editorial projects with Jose Sanabria. 

I develop my illustrations through drawings and classic techniques, approaching the work, which relies strongly on watered down techniques with the support of a graphite pencil. All my work is handmade, I feel I have more sensitivity that way. The key aspects for me are the light and the contrast. I make use of digital techniques to generate color and as a main tool for the design. 

I'm constantly pursuing creating balance, beauty, elegance and strength.
