La Siempreviva - illustrated song.
This project is a combination of poetry, education and love for nature: it celebrates the existence of a native plant (vulgarly known as “Guaycurú”) of the Bahía Blanca estuary and the area (southern of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). The book presents a poetic and educational vision of the nature of the place. It consists of rhythmic verses and illustrations that, together, teach readers about biodiversity, the importance of caring for the environment, the value of each living being and our interaction with it. It provides a new way to understand and appreciate the diversity of our natural world.
The illustrations have movement, colors and textures that were made with different papers (papercut), pencils and embroidery thread.
This story can be approached from several points of view: as a song with its melody, voice, lyrics and chords; from its visual story and art; from the side of natural sciences and environmental education; from the literary point of view because of how a song is written.

Este proyecto es una combinación de poesía, educación y amor por la naturaleza: celebra la existencia de una planta nativa (vulgarmente conocida como “Guaycurú”) del estuario de Bahía Blanca y la zona (sur de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina) En el libro se presenta una visión poética y educativa de la naturaleza del lugar. Consta de versos rítmicos e ilustraciones que, juntos, enseñan a los lectores sobre la biodiversidad, la importancia del cuidado del ambiente, el valor de cada ser viviente y nuestra interacción con ello. Brinda una nueva manera de entender y apreciar la diversidad de nuestro mundo natural.
Las ilustraciones muestran movimiento, colores y texturas que fueron realizadas con diferentes papeles (papercut), lápices e hilo bordado.
Esta historia puede abordarse desde varios puntos de vista: como canción con su melodía, voz, letra y acordes; desde su relato visual y arte; desde el lado de las ciencias naturales y educación ambiental; desde lo literario por cómo se escribe una canción.
