Hola! Soy Julio Velázquez un ilustrador de Salta, en el norte de Argentina.

En los últimos diez años he trabajado para comerciales cómo diseñador de personajes, modelador y animador 3D para diferentes estudios. Donde aprendí a trabajar en equipo, en preproducción y producción, de manera interna, híbrida y remota.

En ese entonces y ahora mi pasión es la misma: la narrativa. Solo que a través de la ilustración.

Y por ello, leo e investigo antes de comenzar a dibujar. Mediante bocetos rápidos planteo la historia en lápiz y en digital he de finalizar las imágenes. Todo porque busco que los libros ilustrados para niños sean un catalizador donde vivan aventuras, cautiven su imaginación y crezcan con vibras positivas.

ENG Hi! I'm Julio Velazquez a illustrator from Salta, in the north of Argentina. 



Over the past ten years I have been working for commercials how to character designer, modeler and animator 3D for different studios. Where I learned to work as a team, in pre-production and production internally, hybrid and remotely. 



My main passion is the same: the storytelling, but just now I tell stories through my illustrations. 



I seek to create a children picture books and for that I read and research before drawing. Being inspired and motivated, I start drawing the first sketches just a pencil and finished in digital. Because I love to imagine how these images are a catalyst for the little ones to live adventures and grow with positive vibes.
